Gaea Mobile Ltd., in partnership with Bethesda Softworks, is pleased to announce early access is now available for The Elder Scrolls: Legends in regions including Taiwan, Macau and the Philippines!
The Elder Scrolls: Legends is an immersive strategy card game based on the world and lore of the award-winning, The Elder Scrolls series. It transforms the recognizable heroes, powers, and creatures from the world of Tamriel into cards that players collect and build into decks. Legends’ deep, but accessible gameplay makes it easy for players to jump right into many modes and challenges offered in the game. Through Legends’ single-player Stories, players earn new cards and develop their techniques. Players can also spend hours brewing their own decks and challenging other players online!
A special component of The Elder Scrolls: Legends is the two-lane mechanic. The game board is divided into a normal Field Lane and the elusive Shadow Lane. When creatures are summoned into the Shadow Lane, they gain Cover, protecting them from attacks for one turn. Players must not only consider which card to play on their turn but also which lane provides the greatest strategic advantage.
Another unique mechanic in Legends are runes and Prophecies. If a player takes enough damage, one of their runes will break and that player draws a card. If a card drawn from a broken rune has a Prophecy on it, it can be played immediately for free – potentially turning the battle in your favor!
These innovative mechanics create all kinds of opportunities for players to make meaningful strategies and interactions in Legends. Do you secure an empty Field Lane or fight for the contested Shadow Lane? Will you attack your opponent this turn and risk giving them a free card? It’s entirely up to the player to decide!
Choose Your Class
There are five different attributes in Legends that give each deck its playstyle and identity, indicated by the card’s color: Strength (Red), Intelligence (Blue), Willpower (Yellow), Agility (Green), Endurance (Purple). Decks can also include attribute-less Neutral cards for extra deck building synergy.
A deck can focus on one attribute, or combine a second attribute to create one of The Elder Scrolls: Legends ten different character classes, each with its own special traits. No one attribute or class is strongest – each is balanced with its own unique advantages and weaknesses. How you construct your 50-card deck – from your attributes to the allies you summon – is up to your playstyle!
