About “Diablo Immortal”
“Diablo Immortal” is Blizzard’s new addition to their long-running dungeon-crawler franchise. Set between the events of “Diablo 2” and “Diablo 3,” players will uncover the events that transpired between the two titles with new threats from hell emerging to wreak havoc upon the land. Players will take their roles as adventurers seeking to keep the denizens of hell at bay while finding the shattered pieces of the World Stone with the help of familiar characters.
“Diablo Immortal” will have multiple classes available upon launch, all of them will have 2 genders to choose from namely the Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Crusader, Demon Hunter, and Necromancer.
Play “Diablo Immortal” On PC
The Open Beta launch date isn’t the only big news Blizzard dropped. They’ve also revealed that the game will be playable on PC with cross-platform support. This means you can continue your game progress either through mobile and PC! The decision was mainly due to the community’s recurring feedback, asking the developers to have “Diablo Immortal” be playable on Windows PC as well.
Blizzard has stated that “Diablo Immortal” will be their largest “Diablo” game ever with various contents including distinct zones, unique encounters, and more satisfying ways to cut down demons than ever before. “Diablo Immortal” is also the first game by the company to be built from the ground up for mobile devices, delivering the same triple-A experience fans have loved all these years.
Lastly, “Diablo Immortal” is the first in the franchise that will provide an opportunity to socialize, play, and explore the world freely with other players.
“Diablo Immortal” Will Have Controller Support
Providing more ways for players to enjoy the game, Blizzard has also added controller support for both PC and mobile. This was another community feedback that the company took to heart and promptly added to “Diablo Immortal.” The addition of a modified controller functionality will give players the use of a free-cursor reticle controlled with a thumbstick to navigate menus. Typing messages can be done through a touch screen and keyboard as well.
Additionally, WASD directional keys can be used to move around if you’re playing on PC, another first in the franchise. But of course, you can still use your mouse and keyboard to explore, loot, and keep Hell’s demons at bay.
