FREE ADMISSION: Globe’s Back-to-Back Esports Events

Are you up for some hot gaming action this early summer? Then get ready to rally behind your favorites and meet competitive PC, mobile, and console gamers!


Let Globe take you to the party as Pinoy Gaming Festival (PGF) Summer Assembly 2018 and Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL) 2018 are set to delight gamers with an early summer treat from March 23 to 25.

The PGF 2018 is happening from March 23 to 25 at Glorietta 3 Activity Center while the PPGL 2018 Grand Finals is from March 24 to 25 at Glorietta 2 Activity Center.

One of the event’s highlights is the grand finals of three of PPGL’s games, namely, Dota 2, Tekken 7, and Arena of Valor.

P500,000 prize pool is at stake for the DOTA 2 teams while P200,000 prize pool is up for grabs at Arena of Valor’s grand finals, and P100,000 prize pool awaits the eight Tekken 7 finalists. Three champions will emerge after the 2-day event for DOTA 2 (PC), Arena of Valor (Mobile), and Tekken 7 (Console).

Secret 6, a local game developer, will also showcase first-person shooter Project Xandata. Other games to watch out for are Super Evil Mega Corp’s famous MOBA Vainglory, anime fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ, Garena’s crowd favorite MOBA League of Legends, and a new mobile shooter game Free Fire.


This back-to-back event is organized by Gariath Concepts and MET (Mineski). It is sponsored by Logitech, Bacchus Energy Drink and TNC Cyber Cafe, along with gaming partners Super Evil Mega Corp, Secret 6 and Garena.
