Meet The Challenger: League of Masters Offers Revolutionary Mechanic For Auto Chess Genre

Games of Masters has shared the first details of the revolutionary progression system in their upcoming release, League of Masters. This system aims to take the excitement of the Auto Chess and Battler genres to a radically new level by adding RPG elements.

One of the limitations of the Auto Chess genre is the lack of long-term goals, while Battlers often lack deep mechanics where strategic actions and decisions directly influence the outcome of the battle. The progression system in League of Masters has been designed to provide gamers with a qualitatively new experience, making the gameplay equally thrilling both in the early days and after a year of continuous play.

League of Masters is the first game to add a deep progression system for commanders to the familiar Auto Chess gameplay. Players will upgrade commanders who lead their units into battle. This maintains balance within the battle as players start with equal chances of winning: units are strengthened during the battle from scratch, while commander upgrades provide additional bonuses.

The progression system focuses on enhancing commanders in various ways, including:

  • Equipment (its level and rarity)
  • The level and rarity of the commander
  • Commanders’ abilities and talents
  • Additional stats
  • Collections of artifacts
  • Most importantly, the PvP arena ranking, which allows players to earn significantly more loot in different game modes.

Modes:

PvP

By upgrading your commander, you climb the league to earn as many rewards as possible at the end of the season.

PvE

In addition to PvP battles, the game features a PvE campaign. As players progress through the storyline, they will receive loot that can be used to upgrade their commanders.

Raids

Besides PvP and PvE, there is a castle attack mode. This mini-game allows players to obtain loot for upgrades without engaging in battle.

This combination of dynamic battles, where players determine the tactics and influence the outcome, and various modes for commander progression, offers deep immersion into the gameplay, making the game endlessly engaging and exciting.
