Project RX, Nexon Teases New 3D Anime RPG

Nexon Games has officially unveiled “Project RX,” a new subculture anime RPG featuring advanced 3D graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game’s teaser image, released on October 25, introduces characters who make direct eye contact with the viewer, hinting at the engaging, interactive experience players can expect.

Background and Development

Project RX initially began as a task force in April last year and has since progressed to become an official project under the newly established “RX Studio” as of August 1. This development follows Nexon’s recent organizational restructure, forming the “IO Headquarters” (IO HQ), which specializes in subculture game development. Cha Min-seo, who led the successful “Blue Archive,” serves as the project director (PD) for RX Studio. Renowned designer Yutaka Mizu, also from Blue Archive, joins as the art director.
