Netmarble CEO Min-kwan Kwon has finally revealed the highly anticipated MMORPG based on the popular sci-fi title, Rising Force Online, more popularly known as RF Online. The game has pumped the sci-fi levels up to 100 and will now feature brand new mechanics, a huge massive open world, and cross-platform for PC and Mobile.
Tentatively named “RF Project”, the announcement includes an epic trailer featuring the three factions: Bellato, Accretia, and Cora, duking it out and outlasting each other in a dense forest environment. The world will have different terrains and biomes, new enemies, and new aesthetics for all the races but the nostalgia is still there with all too familiar features still present in the game. Check out the trailer to see what’s in store for you which includes a flying system, a new revamped Massive Armor Unit, and many many more.
You’ll be glad to know that you won’t be locked to a single faction anymore. Feel free to join any of the 3 races and test out which side suits you best. And for those who love the intricate Faction versus Faction system, do not worry, seems like It’s still there! Raid enemy territories, hunt them down, or join the massive campaign that is Chip War. Satiate your desire for overwhelming dominion of the planet Novus.
“I had a great desire to show users the attractive and unique world of RF again. We made preparations. RF’s fierce RVR based on the fight between countries is a narrative that users create by itself.”
Min-kwan Kwon, Netmarble CEO
RF Project does not have an exact release date yet but it has been confirmed that it will be a cross-platform game where PC and mobile players can enjoy playing together. It is highly likely that the game will release for South Korea first but will be followed immediately by a global version since the game has seen more success overseas.
