“SD Gundam G Generation Eternal” is a grid-based tactical RPG coming to mobile devices. The game is developed and published by Bandai Namco and is the latest addition to the long-running “G Generation” franchise. It will feature 18 different Gundam titles, each one will contribute to the game’s many battle scenarios. Each scenario can be expected to be cleared in around 15 minutes.
Gameplay Features
“SD Gundam G Generation Eternal” will retain the original grid-based battle system the franchise has been known for. Since this is a mobile game title, an auto-mode system is expected to be added for hands-free gaming. The battle system will have the franchise’s signature animated attack cutscenes. They’ve been cut down to a few seconds to fit the mobile gaming experience of bite-sized content but it will still look awesome nonetheless. This will also lessen the volume of data for the game.
Additionally, “SD Gundam G Generation Eternal” will have a gacha system where you can get the chance to obtain higher-tier mobile suit units and copy units. The developers plan to have new units obtainable only through gacha but will also be available through various scenarios and events, probably when a good amount of time has passed since their banner went up.
New units will also be obtainable through development and production functions. Basically, the gacha system will allow players to get their favorite units early. If you have the patience, you can always skip the gacha and wait for your favorite unit to become available to obtain through other means.

The Closed Beta Testing phase for “SD Gundam G Generation Eternal” is coming soon. Interested players can visit their official website and sign up there. You’ll just need to fill up a short form and answer a short survey to be qualified. Closed Beta Test slots are limited so signing up doesn’t guarantee you a slot.
