Kuro Game has announced that their massively anticipated action RPG, “Wuthering Waves” will be opening a pre-registration phase for the game’s Closed Beta Testing! The news was shared on their social media page with a short video clip featuring an artwork of what seems to be a huge city.
About “Wuthering Waves”
“Wuthering Waves” is Kuro Games’ next action RPG for mobile. The game the gameplay mechanics of “Punishing: Gray Raven” and transfers it into a brand new open-world environment. The story takes place in a world struck by a calamity a hundred years ago. Ever since then, monstrous beings have spawned throughout the lands sowing discord and destruction in their wake. Human civilization was pushed to the brink of collapse.
To rebuild and survive, the remaining humans have banded together and set aside their differences, erecting cities to defend themselves. But the threat still looms beyond the city boundaries. This is where you, the player, will come in. You’ll take control of a team of unique characters, each with their own special abilities that are tasked to fight against these monsters that threaten to destroy your newfound utopia.
About The CBT Pre-Registration
As of this writing, not much information has been revealed about the Closed Beta pre-registration. What we do know right now is that it will begin on March 21, 2023. The CBT sign-up was announced using a short video clip that you can watch below.
Since a Closed Beta Test is now on the horizon, we might see “Wuthering Waves” get an official launch before 2023 ends. The game has been highly anticipated by anime and action game fans alike especially those who have played Kuro Game’s previous title, “Punishing: Gray Raven” with emphasis on “Punishing” since the game and “Wuthering Waves” will heavily rely on player skills like perfect dodging, perfect parry, proper attack and skill execution, and so on.
