“Metria” Asobimo’s Next Mobile RPG Begins Alpha Test On April 12

Action RPG fans, get ready to mark your calendars! Asobimo has announced that their latest game, “Metria,” will soon enter alpha testing. The game’s mechanics are certainly reminiscent of the popular “Genshin Impact,” by HoYoverse while the visual looks a bit like “Sword Art Online: Integral Factor.” With what seems to be an open world and third-person perspective, the game has the potential for a unique and engaging gameplay experience.

Thankfully, Asobimo has made it clear that this alpha test will be open to everyone, running from April 12 through to April 21. The game’s Twitter account has been teasing gameplay previews over the last few weeks, with the latest clip suggesting that character collection will play a significant role in the game.

Nothing much is known about “Metria” but we’ll definitely know soon. What we know so far is that the game will be in the third person and that there will be something of a gacha mechanic. Players can collect various characters and “switch” between them to use their skills and abilities during battle, similar to “Genshin Impact.” Additionally, the world of Metria is reminiscent of Asobimo’s previous hit titles, “Toram Online,” and “Iruna Online” which may be hinting that the company might be tracing back its roots and taking elements from their previous titles that made them successful and putting them in a brand new title.

If you’re as intrigued by “Metria,” be sure to keep an eye out for its alpha build, available to download from the Google Play Store on April 12. With its vibrant graphics and promising gameplay, “Metria” has the potential to be the next big action RPG genre from Asobimo.
