NetEase Connect 2023: Every Game Revealed & Updated During The Event

NetEase Connect 2023, the annual event by the global game developer and publisher was recently streamed last weekend. The event was full of new game announcements as well as updates for existing games including ones that were previously announced. Over 19 titles were showcased during the event! From survival crafting titles to games inspired by H.P Lovecraft, here are all the game reveals and updates during the NetEase Connect 2023 event.

“Justice”

“Justice” is NetEase’s new flagship MMORPG that’s coming to PC and mobile. The game is said to be powered by AI technology. The game will make its debut in mainland China on June 30, 2023, with the global version following suit.

“Ashfall”

“Ashfall” is an upcoming open-world survival shooter MMORPG coming to mobile and PC. As of this writing, the game is already available on the wishlist for PC via Steam while those who are planning to play on mobile can pre-register through their official website. “Epic Of Tia”

“Epic Of Tia” is an upcoming MMORPG platform where the contents of the game are player generated. The game will give players the ability to create their own game world with relative ease. NetEase claims that players can even add monetization methods to their own generated game, similar to Roblocks. 

“Once Human”

“Once Human” is a sandbox survival MMORPG coming to PC. Set in a post-apocalyptic world with otherworldly elements. It mixes combat, crafting, and survival MMORPG all happening in a world inspired by H.P. Lovecraft. Players can explore 4 distinct biomes and explore a huge 16×16 kilometer map. You can also craft your own gear, build your own base, and engage in combat with both in-game enemies and real-life players.

“Identity V”

“Identity V” the 1 versus 4 horror game got a new update during the event which includes 2 new survivors: the Cheerleader and Charles Holt. Additionally, a new hunter will be introduced in the form of the Opera Singer, Sangria. There will also be crossover events coming to the game including characters from “Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony” and “Angels Of Death.”

“Harry Potter Magic Awakened”

“Harry Potter Magic Awakened” has been a long-anticipated mobile game since its reveal. The game is a mix of Trading Card Game (TCG) mechanics and RPG. Set years after the events of the Harry Potter series, players will take the role of a new student in Hogwarts. They’ll be able to meet iconic characters like the titular Harry Potter, now working as an Auror for the Ministry Of Magic, and engage in various school activities and go on magical adventures. The global version was finally announced and will launch soon.

“Dead By Daylight Mobile”

“DBD Mobile” has been a great success for NetEase, throughout the years, the game has stayed relevant by introducing new characters both survivors and killers. “DBD” became even more popular by adding iconic characters from horror franchises to the game like “Halloween,” “The Ring,” “Silent Hill,” and more. NetEase announced that a new season called “Dark Trails” will be coming to the game bringing new survivors and killers.

Other games that will be getting minor updates but are still worth mentioning:

  • Lost Light – the ultra-competitive looter shooter will be getting new maps and a pet system.
  • Naraka Bladepoint – A new playable character called Zai will be introduced in the game in its next major update.
  • Mission Zero – the spy-esque game will be getting a new map called the Museum of Civilization.
  • Eggy Party – the “Fall Guys” inspired game will be launching for iOS soon.
  • Ace Racer – the mobile racing RPG announces its 3rd season will be arriving in June 2023.
