Netmarble’s “Marvel Future Revolution,” the open-world action RPG set in the Marvel Universe, has announced that it will be shutting down its services globally on August 25th, 2023. This news has come as a shock to many fans of the game, who have been enjoying it since its global release exactly two years prior.
“Marvel Future Revolution” was the first mobile game of its kind to be released by Marvel, and it quickly gained popularity among fans of the superhero franchise. The game allowed players to follow an epic story with their favorite Marvel Super Heroes, and it was created using Unreal Engine, which gave it a full 3D, realistic graphic style. The game’s simple controls and interesting combat gameplay also contributed to its success.
However, despite its initial success, the game struggled to maintain its consistency and quality. There were inconsistencies in terms of updates and gameplay, which always hits the developer. Even with over 10 million global downloads, the game couldn’t keep up, and henceforth, decided to call it quits, leaving plenty of its fans in turmoil.
In-game purchases were disabled on June 2nd, and the Official Community Schedule will also close.
