AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX has blown all expectations during the recent launch of the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000WX series. What started as an impressive claim by AMD has turned into a jaw-dropping reality, as professional overclockers have taken the 7995WX to new heights.
During AMD’s press conference last month, the company boldly stated that the Threadripper Pro 7995WX, when overclocked, could easily hit 184,028 points in Cinebench R23. At the time, the reigning record stood at 147,668 points, set by a dual EPYC CPU machine boasting 192 cores.

QuasarZone, via VideoCardz, reported that AMD’s confidence wasn’t misplaced. Initial benchmarks revealed the 7995WX’s prowess under standard cooling, with scores of 161,000 and 167,000 points under air and water cooling, respectively.

Overclocking experts like Sampson and DogFace took it to even more heights. DogFace managed an astounding 183,391 points, getting incredibly close to AMD’s promised figures. However, Sampson took things a step further, smashing AMD’s expectations by setting a new world record with a mind-blowing 186,756 points.
As of now, safedisk leads the pack with an unbelievable 210,702 points. These achievements not only validate AMD’s claims but also underscore the limitless potential tucked away in the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX. It’s not just a chip; it’s a symbol of the overclocking community’s prowess.
