Batman: Arkham Trilogy Nintendo Switch Launch Trailer Reveals New Character Suit

Warner Bros. Games and DC today revealed the official gameplay launch trailer for Batman: Arkham Trilogy, the upcoming compilation of Rocksteady Studios’ award-winning videogames that brings together Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight in one iconic package, coming to Nintendo Switch for the first time on Dec. 1, 2023.

The trailer features gameplay highlights from all three acclaimed titles on the Nintendo platform, along with a first look at the new Batman character suit inspired by the Warner Bros Pictures hit film The Batman, which will be available exclusively in Batman: Arkham Knight on Nintendo Switch* at launch (Dec. 1) and available in Batman: Arkham Knight on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC beginning Dec. 15.

Developed for Nintendo Switch by Turn Me Up Games, Batman: Arkham Trilogy features Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight and will include all previously released downloadable content (DLC) from all three titles. Players can pre-order Batman: Arkham Trilogy now for $59.99 (SRP) via the Nintendo Store.

Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham Asylum, released in 2009, marked the beginning of the iconic DC “Arkhamverse.” The game immersed players in a dark, atmospheric adventure within Arkham Asylum, as Batman faced notorious villains like The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Bane.

The 2011 sequel, Batman: Arkham City, expanded on the foundation of its predecessor, transporting players to the sprawling Arkham City. Featuring a formidable Rogues Gallery, including Catwoman, Two-Face, and The Penguin, the game allows players to embody The Dark Knight and deliver justice within the confines of the city.

In 2015, Rocksteady Studios concluded the trilogy with Batman: Arkham Knight. The game escalated the stakes with the introduction of the Arkham Knight and Scarecrow. Players experienced the ultimate showdown in Gotham City, aided by allies like Commissioner Gordon and Catwoman. The addition of the drivable Batmobile, capable of transforming for various purposes, provided the complete Batman experience.
