PUBG Mobile has introduced its “Play for Green” campaign as part of the Green Game Jam 2024, organized by Playing for the Planet. Joining efforts with Outfit7, creators of Talking Tom & Friends, the campaign features a new map series called Ruins of Erangel, developed in collaboration with UCL Professor Mark Maslin. The maps, Sandstorm and Exploration, depict Erangel 100 years after climate change.

From September 11th to 24th, players can participate in the “Run for Green” event, contributing to real-world environmental projects protecting over 350,000 sq meters of land in Indonesia, Pakistan, and Brazil. Additionally, the World of Wonder Green Creative Contest and Global Action Challenge will offer players chances to engage with environmental themes and win rewards from September 12th to 30th.
