Konosuba: Fantastic Days, the mobile RPG based on the hit anime series KonoSuba, has announced its end of service. According to developers Nexon and Sesisoft, both the Japanese and Global servers will shut down on January 30, 2025. This announcement comes after a notable four-year run, following the game’s initial release in 2020, when it quickly gained popularity for its unique blend of humor and classic RPG gameplay.

End of Service Details and Refunds
The game’s in-app purchases will be disabled as of October 31, 2024. For players who have made purchases between January 1, 2024, and October 31, 2024, refunds will be available. Eligible users can apply for refunds via PayPal by January 30, 2025, with reimbursements expected by the end of February 2025. More information about the refund eligibility and process can be found on the official refund application form.

Future of Konosuba: Fantastic Days: Offline Version Plans
An offline version of Konosuba: Fantastic Days might be in development. While the Japanese announcement hinted at this possibility, it was not clearly specified in the global communication. Fans of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness may still have a chance to continue their adventures in a limited capacity through this offline release.

Social Media and Brand Site Shutdown
Following the game’s service termination, the official brand site and all related social media channels, including X, Facebook, Lounge, and Discord, will remain active until February 28, 2025, after which they will also close.
