Azur Lane Forced to Remove Select In-Game Skins to Comply with Google Play Store Policies

In response to Google Play Store policy requirements, the developers of Azur Lane have announced the removal of specific in-game skins. This action aims to ensure the game’s content aligns with platform guidelines.

Affected Skins

The following skins were removed from the in-game shop after January 4, 2025:

  • Shinano – Visions of Fantasy (Live2D)
  • Napoli – Dreamy Night (Live2D)
  • Hindenburg – Delirious Duel (Live2D)
  • Chitose – Summer Shine
  • Atago – Summer March (Live2D)

Players who purchased these skins before the removal date retain access. However, new purchases are no longer possible.

Event Adjustments and Compensation

In addition to skin removals, an associated event concluded earlier than scheduled. As compensation, developers provided players with two Gear Skin Boxes (Night Club).
