Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 ‘Astra-nomical Moment’ Launches January 22

HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 1.5, titled “Astra-nomical Moment,” will be released on January 22, 2025.

New Character: Astra Yao

Astra Yao, New Eridu’s brightest star, will perform at Starloop, the city’s iconic landmark. As an S-Rank Ether Support Agent, she can enter the Idyllic Cadenza state, providing a damage bonus to the entire squad. She remains on the battlefield even when switching agents, continuing to buff teammates. Notably, her Ultimate ability damages enemies and restores HP to the entire squad, making her the game’s first healing character.

New Character: Evelyn

Evelyn, Astra’s trusted guardian, is an S-Rank Fire Attack Agent. Her attacks generate Burning Tether Points, and once fully accumulated, she can unleash a Chain Attack alone. After using her Ultimate for the first time, she enters the Dance of Awakened Fire state, where subsequent Ultimates unlock new animations.

Additional Characters

The update also introduces a new S-Rank Bangboo named Snap, equipped with a camera to capture memorable moments. Additionally, S-Rank Ice Attack Agent Ellen and S-Rank Electric Stun Agent Qingyi are set to return in Version 1.5 banners.

New Gameplay Features

Version 1.5 brings several new gameplay modes:

Endless Tower: The Last Stand: Implemented in Simulated Battle Trial, players ascend in phases of 10 floors with specific combat effects.
Perpetrator Battle: Accessed through Hollow Zero, players use designated Agents, exclusive Gear, and Resonia to defeat formidable foes.
Mach 25: A new parkour arcade game available at Godfinger, where players can race with various vehicles.
Bizarre Brigade: Adds a 2-player PvE mode and introduces seven new Dream Seekers, including Wise, Belle, and members of Cunning Hares.

Events and Customizations

Players can participate in:

Bangboo Pageant “Ridu’s Got Boo”: During “The Day of Brilliant Wishes,” help Eous secure the championship to unlock various rewards, including Nicole’s new outfit.
Elpis Ultimate Angler Championship: Hone fishing skills to earn prestigious rewards, such as an exclusive dynamic wallpaper.

Additionally, Agents including Astra, Ellen, and Nicole will receive new outfits in this update.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 will be available on PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android.
