Tencent Games has officially announced a seven-day Closed Beta Test (CBT) for Rust Mobile, commencing on April 16, 2025, for both Android and iOS users in China. This follows an Alpha Test conducted in Canada in February 2025. Pre-registration for the CBT is currently open.
Experience Hardcore Survival in Rust Mobile
Rust Mobile, the eagerly awaited mobile adaptation of the popular PC game, is being developed under the codename “Outpost” with official authorization from Facepunch Studios. The game immerses players on a perilous, deserted island where survival hinges on resource gathering, shelter construction, weapon crafting, and exploration. Players must navigate threats from wildlife, other survivors, and environmental hazards.
Steps to Apply for the Rust Mobile Closed Beta Test
To participate in the upcoming CBT, follow these steps. Do take note that this is only open for players in China or if you have a QQ account:
- Visit the TapTap CN website.
- Search for “失控进化” (Codename: Outpost).
- Click on “Sign up for the test.”
- Log in with your QQ account.
- Complete the recruitment questionnaire.
- Submit your TapTap ID and QQ account information.
Applicants will be notified of their selection status within a week. The recruitment period closes on April 13, 2025, with the CBT commencing on April 16, 2025.
