UNDECEMBER’s ‘Starwalker’ Update Introduces Wheel of Fate, New Skills, and Enhanced Gear Crafting

LINE Games, in collaboration with Needs Games, has rolled out the ‘Starwalker’ season update for UNDECEMBER, their acclaimed hack-and-slash ARPG. This update brings a suite of new features designed to enrich gameplay and challenge players anew.

Navigate the Wheel of Fate

Central to the update is the ‘Wheel of Fate’, a single-player mode where players traverse a star-shaped board filled with randomized Chaos Dungeon nodes. Progressing to the center may trigger a confrontation with the formidable Starlight Guardian, offering exclusive rewards like a new Link Rune and Artifact upon defeat.

Gear Synthesis: Crafting Enhanced Equipment

Introducing the Astrologer NPC, players can now engage in Gear Synthesis by combining materials obtained from the Wheel of Fate. This system enables the crafting of advanced gear, including the newly added endgame 2-Handed Sword, enhancing combat capabilities.

Expand Your Arsenal with New Skill Runes

Combat strategies are further diversified with the addition of two new Skill Runes:

Lightning Slash: Chains lightning damage between enemies.
Flash: Delivers rapid strikes along a charging path.

These can be augmented with the new Link Rune, Iai-jutsu, designed to amplify attack damage.

Enhanced Progression and Competitive Play

The update also revamps progression and competitive elements:

Monster Level Cap: Increased to 170.
Chaos Dungeon: Now features a new level structure, capping at Level 40.
Unpicked Ranking System: Highlights top players based on highest DPS with non-overlapping skills. The top-ranked player receives a 1,000 Ruby reward.

Limited-Time Login Rewards

To celebrate the new season, LINE Games is hosting limited-time login events. Players can earn valuable in-game rewards, including the Zodiac Sprinter, Hexa Rune Essence, and Gold, simply by logging in.
