SEGA Football Club Champions 2025 Launching for Mobile, PC, and Consoles

SEGA has officially announced SEGA Football Club Champions 2025, a football management simulation game powered by the Football Manager engine. Set to launch as a free-to-play title in 2025, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC (Steam), iOS, and Android platforms. This new installment revives the classic Japanese series known as J.League Pro Soccer Club o Tsukurou! or SakaTsuku, bringing it to a global audience with enhanced features and broader accessibility.

Gameplay Modes: Career and Dream Team

SEGA Football Club Champions 2025 offers two distinct gameplay modes to cater to different player preferences:

  • Career Mode: Manage a football team from the ground up, making strategic decisions on and off the pitch to build the greatest club of all time.
  • Dream Team Mode: Engage in player-versus-player (PvP) matches against others worldwide. This mode includes Event Matches, the Arena, Room Matches, and more, allowing players to test their management skills in competitive settings.

Extensive Licensing and Player Database

The game boasts partnerships with various football leagues globally, providing access to over 10,000 professional footballers. This includes 1,500 players from Japan’s J1–J3 leagues, athletes from the K League, and clubs like Manchester City F.C., thanks to the FIFPRO license. This extensive database allows players to recruit and manage a diverse range of talent, enhancing the authenticity and depth of the management experience.

A closed beta test is scheduled to run from June 19 to June 30, 2025. Interested players can sign up until June 13, 2025, with 15,000 spots available. This beta provides an opportunity to experience the game’s features firsthand and contribute to its development through feedback.
