You’ll be able to explore its open-world fantasy setting, as game publisher tinyBuild and developer Fire & Frost, drops “Of Ash and Steel” for PC next November. You’ll be playing as Tristian, a cartographer-turned-adventurer, on the mysterious island of Grayshaft. Don’t expect any hand-holding, you’ll have to rely on your own curiosity to figure out what’s going on.

Combat in Of Ash and Steel is built around stances and getting to know your sword. You can switch between heavy two-handed clubs, snappy rapiers, and all-around versatile swords. The skills and jobs you choose for your character will affect how much they grow into their role.

The demo features an Arena Master Mode, where you face off against waves of enemies, collecting gold, gear and a good reputation, and this gives a glimpse into the game’s combat abilities.
