Gamers across Southeast Asia were caught by surprise when Blue Protocol: Star Resonance quietly opened its pre-registration on Google Play. Many immediately checked Steam hoping to see the PC version available as well, but it remains region-locked. Meanwhile, the iOS version has yet to open for pre-registration.

Update: As of this writing, the pre-registration is now open to all Southeast Asia. The PC client for SEA might not go through Steam but a direct app download through the game’s official website.

The game’s Thailand Fabook page has already announced a local launch “coming soon,” hinting that the release may cover the entire SEA region. With the Play Store listing now accessible in multiple Southeast Asian countries, it seems the MMORPG is finally gearing up for a regional launch but will only launch for Thailand for now. A Closed Beta Test is slated to begin soon with the official release after.
