Great news for longtime MOBA fans! The legendary online battle arena game, Heroes of Newerth (HoN), has officially returned under the title Heroes of Newerth: Reborn. The Open Beta Test (OBT) is now available for players to jump in. This comeback brings back the familiar, intense gameplay that fans remember, complete with the original iconic voice acting that made the battlefield feel so alive.

Developed for a New Era

The game’s return is thanks to Kongor Studios, which decided to rebuild the game from the ground up rather than just remaking it. The goal was to give the best possible experience to both returning veterans and new players. To achieve this, Reborn was built using a new game engine, featuring updated graphics and improved sound effects.

Modern Features and Content

Heroes of Newerth: Reborn is launching with a roster of over 80 characters, including all the classic Heroes players love, plus new ones that will be added over time. The developers have also included modern features to improve the competitive experience. These updates include better communication tools and a position queue system, which helps players select their preferred role before a match. In addition, the game will feature new content, such as a new boss named Phoenix, with promises of regular updates.
