The 43rd Golden Joystick Awards celebrated the best video games of the year with Sandfall Interactive’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 taking home the prestigious Ultimate Game of the Year award.
The game was the night’s biggest winner, sweeping several major categories including Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, and Best Soundtrack. The game’s cast also received high praise, with Jennifer English winning Best Lead Performer and Ben Starr winning Best Supporting Performer. Sandfall Interactive itself was recognized as Studio of the Year.

Other notable winners included Hollow Knight: Silksong, which claimed victory as both PC Game of the Year and Best Indie Game – Self Published. Ghost of Yōtei secured Console Game of the Year and Best Audio Design. In the multiplayer space, PEAK won Best Multiplayer Game and the Streamers’ Award. The Best Remake / Remaster award went to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
