Manila Madness 4: The Philippines’ Biggest Tekken Showdown Returns Stronger Than Ever

November 8–9, 2025 – Leap Studios, Manila. The Fighting Game Community came alive once again as Manila Madness 4 roared into Leap Studios for a landmark weekend of high-level competition and community celebration. Widely recognized as the biggest TEKKEN event in the Philippines, Manila Madness continues to elevate the standard for local and regional FGC events—created for the community, by the community.

Since its beginning in 2022, the event has grown into a major Southeast Asian battleground. This year marked its fourth major and fifth overall edition, bringing together top players, aspiring competitors, and passionate spectators to share in two days of electrifying matches and unforgettable moments.

Unstoppable Energy, Even Against the Storm

Not even Super Typhoon Uwan could dampen the energy of the Fighting Game Community. Attendees arrived prepared, determined, and hungry for competition, turning Manila Madness 4 into a testament to the community’s unmatched spirit. Despite severe weather conditions sweeping across parts of the country, players from all over the world still showed up—reinforcing Manila Madness as a cornerstone of dedication and unity within the FGC.

A TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2025 Challenger Event

As a certified TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2025 Challenger Event, Manila Madness 4 became a magnet for competitors looking to secure crucial tour points. With global recognition on the line, the event reached a new milestone with 275 players entering the tournament—one of the largest showings in Philippine Tekken history.

The Top 8 lineup showcased an incredible mix of international heavyweights and local legends:

  • Kkokkoma (Kim Mu-jong)
  • K-Swag KIMO
  • eightmethods Melos (Kirk Agcaoili)
  • TM Hafiz Tanveer
  • QAD Yagami
  • N4K Zaskieee
  • Doujin
  • Book

With so much talent in one venue, every round felt like a finals match.

Who Needed the TWT Points the Most

As a TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2025 Challenger Event, Manila Madness 4 became especially important for players grinding for a spot in the Global Finals. Challenger points were crucial for those hovering near the qualification cutoff, and several MM4 Top 8 finishers made meaningful leaps in the standings.
“K-Swag|KIMO” and “eightmethods Melos” earned some of their biggest tour gains here—220 and 180 points respectively—giving both Filipino contenders a much-needed boost toward breaking into the global Top 20 or securing a strong regional ranking. Meanwhile, “Zaskieee” and “QAD|Yagami” added 120 points each, tightening their race for SEA regional slots.
For international veterans already performing well in Master-tier events, MM4 served as valuable point padding — but for many local and regional players, these results were pivotal in keeping their TWT 2025 dreams alive.

Beyond Competition: A Full FGC Playground

Leap Studios transformed into a full-blown FGC playground for the weekend, giving attendees endless opportunities to play, connect, and celebrate the games they love.

Activities included:

  • Dedicated casual gaming zones
  • BYO (Bring Your Own) play setups
  • Community booths and merchandise stalls
  • Nonstop matches and spectator-friendly viewing areas

Whether you were competing, grinding casuals, or just soaking up the atmosphere, there was always something to dive into.

The 3v3 Team Battle: Strategy, Pressure, and Pure Hype

With strict rules, such as automatic disqualification for missing members—the event quickly escalated into one of the most competitive and unpredictable side tournaments of the weekend.

A Bigger Vision for 2026

As Manila Madness continues to grow, so does its ambition. Looking ahead, the organizers aim to expand beyond Tekken, representing the entire Fighting Game Community by featuring a wider lineup of titles in future editions.

Manila Madness 4 proved that no typhoon, no challenge, and no obstacle can shake the resolve of the Philippine FGC. What unfolded at Leap Studios was a celebration of resilience, unity, and the unstoppable passion that fuels the community year after year.
