CloverGames, the developer behind the popular RPG Lord of Heroes, has announced that pre-registration is now open for its new action anime RPG, Ayakashi Rise: AFK Demon Hunt, for both Android and iOS devices. The game is set to bring a blend of strategic combat and idle gameplay to mobile users.

Setting the Stage for the Battle

Ayakashi Rise takes place in a modern day Tokyo that has been overrun by “unidentified demon spirits” following an unprecedented “Ayakashi level” disaster. Players are cast as the Agent leading the Anomaly Control Bureau. Gifted with special abilities, the Agent must use the power of Resonance to transform ordinary students into a powerful fighting force. Players will recruit and train a team of “charming maidens,” including a cool athletics club ace, a miko shamaness, and an aspiring idol, each with unique skills.

Core Gameplay and Availability

The game is described as an auto idle RPG, designed to allow for non stop progression without the need for endless grinding. The characters continue to push forward and fight the chaos even while the player rests. The core gameplay involves strategically combining the girls’ unique skills to uncover the identity and weak points of various spirits, which are based on urban legends that have come to life on the city streets.
