Pearl Abyss announced that its highly anticipated open-world action-adventure title, Crimson Desert, has been featured by the PlayStation Store as one of the “Most Anticipated Games Coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026”.
Crimson Desert was highlighted along with a lineup of 15 global titles, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Resident Evil Requiem, and SAROS in PlayStation Store video and feature webpage.
Crimson Desert has continued to build a strong global momentum throughout the year by participating in major game shows around the world. Beginning with the Game Developers Conference (GDC), the title was showcased at Summer Game Fest (SGF), Bilibili World (BW), ChinaJoy (CJ), PAX East & West, and the Tokyo Game Show (TGS), capturing worldwide attention.
Following last year’s boss battle gameplay demo focused on combat and action, Pearl Abyss debuted a new questline demo this year, highlighting the game’s vast open world. Gamers, media, and influencers who experienced the hands-on demo praised the title for its realistic gameplay, including a vivid open-world environment, high level of player interaction, and detailed physics.
Crimson Desert is scheduled for a simultaneous global release on March 20, 2026 (March 19 UTC) across both PC and console platforms. Pre-orders are currently available via the official website, and the game will be available on PlayStation (PS) 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Apple Mac.
