Pearl Abyss revealed “Seraph,” the 31st new class to arrive in Black Desert.

Unveiled at the Calpheon Ball, Seraph is a female class who wields a massive greatsword and has generated significant anticipation leading up to her release. She utilizes two primary weapons: the main weapon “Sacramentum” and the awakening weapon “Purgatum.” Both weapons take the form of massive two-handed greatswords. By utilizing the Black Spirit’s Rage skill, Seraph can unlock her inherent Sacred Power, transforming both her appearance and her skill set.

A defining characteristic of Seraph is her unique passive skill, “Unshakable Will.” This skill allows Adventurers to maintain their current skill combo stage for up to five seconds, enabling greater control over combat flow. This mechanic empowers Adventurers to control their preferred combat rhythm, allowing them to execute desired skills with fewer timing constraints depending on the situation.

When activating Black Spirit’s Rage skills, Seraph offers players a choice between two distinct combat styles: benevolent light or ruthless darkness.

• Champion of the Holy Covenant: Activated via Sacramentum, this path allows players to use skills focused on speed and high-impact strikes.
• Avatar of Condemnation: Activated via Purgatum, this transforms the character’s appearance to a darker aesthetic and significantly enlarges the greatsword. While attack speed is reduced, this form delivers devastating power and wide-range attacks.

To celebrate the arrival of the new class, Black Desert is hosting a variety of events offering valuable rewards, including 2,000 Cron Stones and the exclusive furniture item “[Event] Iudicium et Purgatum.” Additionally, until January 14, Adventurers can collect “Seraph’s Sigil” by defeating monsters, Gathering, or Fishing. These Sigils can be exchanged for 3,000 Cron Stones, Advice of Valks (+250), Value Pack (15 Days), and other valuable items.

Additionally, to commemorate the Calpheon Ball, the “Calpheon Ball Login Rewards” event will run until February 25. Depending on the number of login days, Adventurers can obtain up to 10,000 Cron Stones as well as items such as the “Mythical Censer.”

On top of that, fresh challenges are now available based on Adventurers’ AP. Those who reach 340 AP or higher can receive a “Choose Your Rare Hammer Box.” Additional rewards can be earned up to 20 times as AP continues to increase beyond 340.
