Teppen Ending Online Service in March 2026

GungHo Online Entertainment and Capcom have announced that the digital card game Teppen will officially end its online service on March 30, 2026. This marks the end of a successful run that lasted nearly seven years since the game’s launch in 2019. The game became a fan favorite by bringing together iconic characters from Capcom franchises like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter. In preparation for the shutdown, in-game currency purchases are being phased out starting in late 2025, with card pack sales ending in early 2026.

Offline Version Confirmed for Fans

In a move that has pleased many dedicated players, the developers confirmed that an offline version of the game will be released on the same day the online servers close. This update will allow players to keep their collected cards and view their past play data. The offline mode will include several key features, such as Hero Stories and Adventure modes, where players can continue to battle computer opponents. Additionally, players will be able to edit their decks freely without the usual soul limits, ensuring the game remains playable long after the servers are gone.

Important Deadlines for Players

While the offline version provides a way to keep playing, there are important deadlines to keep in mind. Players must download the app or apply the final offline update by April 29, 2026, to ensure they can access the content. After this date, it may no longer be possible to transition your data to the offline mode. Official support for the game and its website will conclude entirely by July 30, 2026. This transition represents a rare and positive example of a mobile game being preserved for its community rather than disappearing completely.
