Black Desert TH and SEA Celebrate 8th Anniversary with Special Events and Rewards

Seoul, South Korea — January 15, 2026 — Pearl Abyss announced today that Black Desert Thailand and Southeast Asia are celebrating their 8th anniversary with a series of festive in-game events and generous rewards.

Since its launch, Black Desert has captivated Adventurers with dynamic combat, breathtaking visuals, and an expansive open world. To commemorate this milestone, Adventurers are invited to participate in a variety of celebratory events.

For two weeks starting today, Adventurers can obtain rewards through Challenges simply by logging into the game. Rewards include [Event] 8th Anniversary Cake, [Event] Celebratory Accessory Selection Box, Advice of Valks (+150), and a Supreme Old Moon Box.

When placed in a residence, the special cake serves not only as a decorative item but also grants buffs, including a 100% increase in Combat, Life, and Skill EXP for 24 hours.

During the same period, a special “Gift Box” boss will appear three times a day at designated times near Loggia Farm in Velia. Adventurers can defeat the boss to receive rewards, then type “0117” in chat to earn additional rewards, including Advice of Valks (+150) and more.

To further celebrate the anniversary, the Black Desert team is collaborating with partner creators to host a dance competition on January 16 at Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. During the broadcast, viewers will be able to vote in each division, influencing the final results. Adventurers who tune in to the live stream will also have the opportunity to earn special rewards.

Adventurers can also take advantage of the Special Hot Time Event, available until January 22, offering an 800% increase in Combat EXP, 400% increase in Skill EXP, and an 80% increase in Item Drop Rate.

Lastly, starting on January 22, Adventurers can collect seals through various activities in Black Desert and exchange them for items based on the number of seals acquired, including 2,000 Cron Stones, Advice of Valks (+250), and more.
