Day 2 of gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 opened with cinematic flair as Dead Space and Call of Duty creator Glenn Schofield received a Lifetime Achievement Award, honouring his impact and fearless leadership in the industry.

Crowds packed the entertainment area for an explosive opening, and the show floor was alive with industry giant exhibitors like CAPCOM, Bandai-Namco, GCL and more.
One of the highlights of the day included a live panel with the cast and creators of Island of Hearts—4Divinity’s latest venture with Titan Media—offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the new IP.
The Pitch Competition wrapped with MVRX Games (Sweden) winning Best Visual for Dew, Kotakoren Games (Malaysia) taking Best Game Design for Of Blood and Descend, and Mudtek (USA) earning Most Anticipated Game for Dimraeth. Each received USD 1,500 to help in further develop their titles.

On the conference stage, Meghan Morgan Juinio (formerly Santa Monica Studio) and Fleur Marty(Gearbox) led a candid session on women shaping AAA games.

Danny Koo (Marvel Games) pulled back the curtain on integrating lesser-known heroes into Marvel Rivals, and announced that Marvel Zombies, the game’s first ever PvE mode, will launch globally on 23 October, pitting heroes against relentless zombie hordes and epic boss encounters such as Zombie Namor and the Queen of the Dead.
