Ragnarok Online players, both old and new, enjoyed a day of good food, camaraderie, and an intense war on the battlefield, as Gravity and Joymaker, in cooperation with KDM Esports, and Joytify Lapakgaming, hosted its Ragnarok Online 3 Pioneer Test: Emperium Showdown offline event last November 22, 2025 at KDM Esports Morayta.
Before the game test, attending players were divided into two teams, Team Malakas and Team Maganda. Team Malakas is led by ImmortalMBGG, while Afy helmed Team Maganda. At the start of the event, M Kazimir Nadhil Sharif of Joymaker Operations briefed the players on everything that makes Ragnarok Online 3 different than its previous iterations, especially on the War of Emperium aspect. This includes the new objectives, the new features that players can use like the mech, the cannons, and the others. Once the briefing has concluded and the players on both sides have prepared, the battle officially begins.
Emperium Showdown: First Round
In the first round, Team Malakas will defend the Emperium until the time runs out, while Team Maganda will attack and destroy it. While players from both sides are familiarizing themselves with the new features of the game, it didn’t affect the intensity of it overall, with plenty of PvP action to witness. In the end, Team Malakas successfully defended the Emperium from Team Maganda’s intense assault.
FIRST ROUND RESULTS: Team Malakas – 1 Team Maganda – 0
Emperium Showdown: Second Round
On the second round, it was Team Maganda this time who will defend the Emperium, while Team Malakas will attempt to attack and destroy it this time. The battle proved to be even more intense than the first one, with both players getting a better grasp of the new war mechanics and using them to the fullest. Team Maganda, in particular, proved its strength on the defensive, with them wiping out the opposing team several times, especially at the last moment. But, in a truly spectacular fashion that sends waves of cheers being heard all throught the entire event, Team Malakas managed to destroy the Emperium with just under 30 seconds remaining.

Event Aftermath
After the event, attendees are able to give their own feedback to the Joymaker Team, based on their own experience, which will then be used to further improve the game.
Ragnarok Online 3 is the newest entry in the “Ragnarok” game series, developed by Joymaker and published by Gravity. Built on the Unity game engine, it’s the official sequel to the original “Ragnarok Online” game, and aims to keep all the elements that make the original RO game memorable, while updating it with modern, high-quality visuals and even more advanced game systems. It is slated to be released sometime in 2026.
