Games, Community, and More at the SEGA ATLUS Festival 2025

Rolling around at the speed of sound, the Sega Atlus Festival had its second consecutive year over at the SM Mall of Asia in Manila. This showcase of SEGA and Atlus titles had fans coming in droves to celebrate several franchise IPs and upcoming games and this year went bigger with more games, guests and goodies.

SEGA / Atlus Samplers Aplenty

With SEGA & Atlus being beloved game companies, the event showcased current and upcoming titles under their banner with the following having their demos for the guests to try out:

  • Sonic Racing Crossworlds
  • Persona 3 Reload
  • Yakuza Kiwami 3
  • Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!
  • Sonic Rumble
  • Demon Slayer 2: The Hinokami Chronicles

While some of the games such as Sonic Racing Crossworlds and Persona 3 Reload are already out, having the opportunity to try them on their respective consoles gave fans a sample of what they’re missing out on. What made the games on the floor special was how various mallgoers could join in on the fun with them getting to try out the games for free!

Yakuza Kiwami 3 had an impressive line lasting hours upon hours on end with this being one of the first glimpses of the upcoming extreme remake of Yakuza 3 to be released in 2026. And on the topic of upcoming titles, following its announcement at The Game Awards recently, Total War Warhammer 40k ‘s trailer was also shown during the event.

Community Spotlight Everywhere

A gaming community together is a gaming community strong and with the various fandoms during the Sega Atlus Festival present, you’d be surprised with the creativity that each community had on display.

Sonic and Hatsune Miku were mainstays with creative liberties taken to show their love and Like a Dragon fans were the same spreading the love for all things Yakuza. The Persona fans also came out in full force with various cosplayers being found all over the venue and the fan art displayed was just something else. It warmed my heart seeing the hodgepodge of characters all around in cohabitation and even in character for photo ops.

The Coolest Cosplayers and Content Creators!

Speaking of photo ops, the SEGA SEA Ambassadors, official cosplayers, hosts and guests were just something else altogether. Hosts Cholo Tolentino and Myrtle Sarrosa were so dynamic and enigmatic throughout the program that the crowd couldn’t get their eyes off of them.

The cosplayers present like BoiledCurry, Roxanne Kho and Zackt really made me feel like the world of Persona just got real and Dasu’s performance at the end of day 1 just kept the crowd on their feet throughout the night even pumping them up for the next day. The weekend was a great time to be a Sega and Atlus fan and you’re missing out if you weren’t there.

Franchise Hype Everywhere

Sega and Atlus cooked up another great weekend for the community with this being their second successful Sega Atlus Festival in the Philippines. Between the great games, great company and amazing community, this event is shaping up to be a mainstay in the gaming community and a must attend for fans.

Whether you’re young or old, Sega and Atlus have you covered. Even if you’re new to their franchises or a seasoned veteran, there’s a lot in store and if you wanna look back on that amazing weekend, they even have their own hashtag: #SEGAATLUSPH25.
