Palworld Mobile Gameplay at G-STAR 2025: First Hands-On Look

One of the booths that immediately grabs attention at G-STAR 2025 is Krafton’s Palworld Mobile showcase. We got hands-on with the gameplay test, and it’s clear that the mobile version stays remarkably true to the PC original. From capturing Pals to crafting, building your base, and facing challenging boss battles, the core mechanics feel almost identical, giving fans a familiar yet portable experience.

Gameplay and Performance

During our session, we explored open areas, engaged in real-time combat, and interacted with Pals using touch controls that were surprisingly intuitive and responsive. Creature capturing functions the same way as on PC, and early base automation hints that the game’s deeper systems are intact even on mobile.

The visuals are scaled for handheld devices, but the vibrant art style and fluid animations carry over beautifully. Performance was stable throughout our test, suggesting the game is already well-optimized for mobile.

Overall Impression

Palworld Mobile gives the impression of a faithful PC-to-mobile adaptation, preserving the core gameplay, intense boss fights, and overall chaotic charm, while the full level of polish can only be assessed once the game is officially released.
