Stats Distribution

As you level up your base level in Ragnarok Origin, you’ll earn stat points that you can allocate to six different stats: Strength, Agility, Vitality, Intelligence, Dexterity, and Luck. You can either manually distribute these points to suit your preferred build or use the “Auto-Assign” feature to save time. If you’re not happy with your current build, you can reset and reassign your stat points in-game

Level One Stat Description:

  • STR: Each point of STR provides 1 Melee ATK, 0.2 Ranged ATK, and 0.5% Melee Weapon ATK. Adding 1 point of STR also increases the Load Limit by 30.
  • AGI: Each point of AGI provides 1 FLEE, 0.2 DEF, and a minor increase in Attack Speed.
  • VIT: Each point of VIT provides 1% Max HP, 0.5 DEF, 0.2 MDEF, and 0.2 HP Recovery.
  • INT: Each point of INT provides 1.5 MATK, 1% Max SP, 1 MDEF, a minor increase in SP Recovery, and a minor reduction in Casting Time.
  • DEX: Each point of DEX provides 1 Ranged ATK, 0.2 Melee ATK, 0.5% Ranged Weapon ATK, 0.2 MDEF, 1 HIT, a minor increase in Attack Speed, and a minor reduction in Casting Time.
  • LUK: Each point of LUK provides 0.3 CRI, 0.2 CRI Resistance, 0.2 ATK, and 0.3 MATK.

Class skills

As your character levels up, they will receive skill points that you can use to upgrade their skills. To unlock higher level skills, you must first learn prerequisite skills and reach specific levels.

The Skill Tree is a combination of multiple Support Skills and becomes available after learning Basic Skills in the tutorial. Access the Skill Tree by tapping the Skill button and entering the Skill Tree tab, then arrange your skills as desired. It’s important to note that the Skill Tree can only be used manually, with each tap casting one skill from left to right.

To reset your Skill Points, you’ll need a Skill Reset Stick, which can be purchased from the Nyan Berry Shop or Diamond Shop or obtained from gift packs. Using the Skill Reset Stick will reset all of your Skill Points.

Pets

In Ragnarok Origin (ROO), you can summon and train pets to aid you on your adventure. These pets are monsters found in Midgard and can be summoned through a gacha-like system.

Not only do they provide additional Stats and Divine Power, but you can also choose one of the four deployed pets to fight alongside you and follow you on your journey.

Cards

Cards can be attached to equipment to increase their attributes by adding sockets and inserting different cards. Obtain them by killing monsters in fields, monster annihilation events, Gachas, Card Books, and the market, or by increasing the card progress in the monster glossary. This feature can be unlocked at level 25 and is one of the ways to improve your attributes and skills in Ragnarok Origin

Tips to Level Up Faster in Ragnarok Origin

Leveling up your character is crucial in Ragnarok Origin to unlock new features and progress through the game. There are two types of experience to gain: Base Experience and Job Experience. Base Experience refers to your character’s level, which affects which gears you can use and gives you stat points to boost your character’s stats. Job Experience, on the other hand, refers to the level of your character’s job class and will give you one skill point to level up your preferred skill every time you level up your job.

To advance to your first job, you need to level up your job class to level 40. The game also has a level cap to prevent excessive playtime and discourage the use of grind bots. The level cap also helps new players catch up to higher-level players, ensuring a fair gameplay experience. With this in mind, it’s not necessary to rush or push for levels as the level cap provides balanced gameplay.

To level up your character efficiently in Ragnarok Origin, here are some of the best to-dos:

AFK Grinding

When you unlock your stamina on grinding, it is advisable to finish it first before doing your daily quest. Set up your character to grind until you’ve used up all your Combat Time and is fatigued.

Normal Benefit Duration

  1. The Normal Benefit Duration is the golden time to level and become stronger!
  2. You will receive rich rewards such as EXP, items, cards, specimens, dolls from battles in the wild. 3. However, you will get FATIGUE after 150 minutes.
  3. While in Fatigue Status, you do not receive EXP or normal Drops. However, you still have a chance to receive special Specimens and Dolls in the Bestiary if your Monster Research level is high enough.

Monster Annihilation Duration:

  1. Monster Annihilation can be turned on and off at will.
  2. When Monster Annihilation is on, you will get an increase in Drops and Card Progress.
  3. No EXP will be earned.
  4. The Monster Annihilation Duration is capped at 210 minutes. Any time added that exceeds this amount will be wasted.
  5. Monster Annihilation Duration will not decrease at the same time as your Healthy timer.

TIP: It’s recommended to activate the “Monster Annihilation” Duration when you are Fatigued, as you can still get the items and cards you want, even though you won’t gain exp.

Daily Commissions

Commissions are events that randomly refresh every day; there are plenty of new and different commissions each day, and players can accept quests based on their capabilities and preferences.

  1. You can hold up to 80 Commission Tickets at the same time. Daily Commissions can be skipped with Skip Tickets or accepted with Commission Tickets.
  2. You will earn a chance to use the Lucky Roulette in the Reward screen upon using 60 Commission Tickets in one day. Up to 10 chances can be earned in this way.
  3. You will receive Stamina by completing Commission Quests, but any surplus Stamina will be removed daily at 05:00.
  4. You will get different Emblems by completing Commission Quests for different Factions. Collect 5 types of Emblems to participate in the Weekend Themed Party.

Guild Feasts

Participating in guild feasts every week is another way to gain a lot of experience points (EXP) and Guild Contribution in Ragnarok Origin

  1. Normal Banquets go live from 20:00-20:20 from Monday to Saturday.
  2. Weekend Banquets go live on Saturdays from 20:00-20:20 and have better rewards than Normal Banquets.
  3. During the event, players staying in the Guild Hall will receive EXP.

Story Quest, Misc Quest and Adventure Quest

The final step in the daily routine to level up quickly is to focus on quests. Quests are a core source of XP and should be completed for leveling up. However, you can also save some quests for later to gain more EXP. Under Quest, there are story, misc, and adventure quests that give EXP even if you’re fatigued. Additionally, there are hidden, and side quests scattered around the world of Ragnarok that are very short and can be completed quickly, yet still provide a lot of XP.

Is Ragnarok Origin Global Free-To-Play Friendly?

This is always the question that makes or breaks the interest of a player in a game. Ragnarok Origin is Free-To-Play friendly because almost all items in the game can be acquired through proper planning, grinding, being active daily, and finishing all daily activities. You can still achieve and experience everything the game offers as long as you’re vigilant and always active.
