“Snowbreak: Containment Zone” is an anime-style mobile game with third-person shooter gameplay and RPG elements that have recently launched for Android, iOS, and PC. It offers a futuristic sci-fi experience with cross-platform support, connecting players for endless fun.
In this dynamic gaming universe, assembling the right team is crucial. We’ve compiled a character tier list based on player experiences and community recommendations. This tier list will be your compass, guiding you toward the most powerful and reliable characters in the game.
Before we proceed, do note that this current tier list will only include the first characters available upon launch. The tier list will definitely change in the future as more units arrive in the game. Now let’s move on to the tier list!
S Tier Characters (must-haves)

Yao Winter Solstice (5*) – She is a sniper-type unit with extraordinary damage potential as a pure DPS. This a top recommendation for those aiming for the strongest fighter in the game. Just do note that snipers have a slow firing rate and have limited ammo so you’re gonna find yourself reloading a lot.

Acacia Kaguya (5*) – A pistol user, she’s equipped with successive projectile attack skills which are very effective in weakening enemies. She is currently the best character for those of you who are active in grinding in the game.
A Tier Characters (keepers)

Fenny Coronet (5*) – She’s a Shotgun type character effectively making her almost like a close-range specialist. She is reliable in bulldozing crowds of enemies, especially when coupled with buff skills that give high damage increases.

Marian Swift (5*) – Apart from his role as a sniper, She is equipped with homing skills that can target enemies in an instant without having to aim manually and still maintain high damage.
B Tier Characters (good units)

Ji Chenxing The Observer (4*) – Chenxhing is a mix of DPS and support using an assault rifle. She is equipped with a zone control skill that is quite efficient in various situations, and also equipped with adequate support skills for healing.

Fritia Little Sunshine (4*) – Another assault rifle user, Fritia is a good character to add to your team because she is mainly a buffer, increasing the combat effectivity of your team.

Enya Big Sis (4*) – Enya is another support-type character who excels in mobbing and uses a pistol. She does not stand out from the rest of the roster but her potential shines if you pair her with Yao Winter Solstice.

Fritia Hush (5*) – Fritia is a good assault rifle character on paper but she heavily relies on her manifest upgrades. If you’re able to maximize that (which will take a long time for F2P and some substantial amount of money if you’re a whale), she can be one of the best DPS in the game.

Lyfe Wild Hunt (5*) – Lyfe Wild Hunt uses a sub-machine gun which means she has high damage output if you’re in mid to close-range distance from enemies but has very low damage on long ranges. She’s best paired with buffer characters.
C Tier Characters (meh units)

Acacia Redacted (4*) – A DPS character that uses a pistol. She is useful in crowd-controlling enemies.

Lyfe Wednesday (4*) – This is the player’s starting character and a submachine gun user. She’s pretty good to start off the game but her damage output is sub-par compared to other characters you’ll be able to get in the game moving forward.

Marian Queen Of Pain (4*) – A DPS sniper character that is good against bosses.

Mauxir Kitty (4*) – She’s a unique character given that she’s the only sub-machine gun type character that can do bosses. Aside from that, she’s subpar.

Yao Quiet Quitter (4*) – Yao is a sniper who is currently the only character in the game that is pure support with healing skills.
D Tier Characters (you can do better)

Cherno Those Two (4*) – a sub-machine gun user, she has the ability to summon support units.

Fenny Lionheart (4*) – she’s another free-starting character who uses a shotgun. She has a good defense but will be outshined by other characters moving forward.

Nita Hands (4*) – She is a shotgun user and the only unit in the game that is a pure tank. Because of this, her role currently has no meta in the game.

Haru The Ace (4*) – She’s a pistol user who has some pretty clunky skills. You can skip her if you have other pistol users in your roster.
