“Albion Online”, the fantasy sandbox MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive, today began the early access period for its new server, Albion East. Early access requires an Albion East Founder Pack, with early access based on a pack level. The full free-to-play launch of Albion East happens on March 20 at 11:00 UTC.

“Albion Online” is a sandbox MMORPG from Sandbox Interactive, set in the medieval fantasy world of “Albion”. Whether playing a hardened fighter, a farmer, a merchant, or a master craftsman, in the player-driven world every single weapon and building is created by the players. Thanks to a “you are what you wear” system free from typical class restrictions, a skilled archer can instantly become a powerful mage, allowing players to define their own roles within the game world. Whether PvE, PvP, or guild vs guild, every action in the game has a meaning… as well as consequences, as PvP battles in the danger zones of the game world are a “winner takes all” affair.  

The new server offers a new start in “Albion” with faster connection speeds and optimized event times for players throughout the region. The game’s original server, now called “Albion West,” remains active, and both servers share the same free-to-play model with an optional per-character subscription.

Players can use one account to access both servers. The servers are not region-locked, and all players worldwide are free to play on either or both.
