After a long wait, Uma Musume Pretty Derby is finally set to go global. Created by Cygames, this mobile simulation game has been a major hit in Japan’s mobile game market and will soon be available in English on Android and iOS platforms.

A Sensation in Japan

Uma Musume Pretty Derby, an adaptation of the popular manga and anime series, translates to Horse Girls. Initially launched as a mobile game in 2018, it has since expanded into a multimedia franchise including anime, manga, and merchandise. The game places players in the role of a trainer at Tracen Academy, guiding horse girls—legendary racehorses reincarnated as pop idols—through workouts and races.
