Starting November 13 through December 11, 2024, Diablo Immortal celebrates World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary with an epic “Eternal War” event. This collaboration offers players a unique chance to experience legendary quests, battles, and iconic items from both games, combining the worlds of Sanctuary and Azeroth in a series of thrilling events and exclusive rewards.
Battle the Lich King and Conquer Cutthroat Basin
In the Eternal War event, players will face the Lich King on his Frozen Throne in the Fallen Citadel. This challenging battle brings the iconic WoW villain to Diablo Immortal, where players can test their strength against one of Azeroth’s fiercest enemies.
Players can also enter Cutthroat Basin, a PvP battleground inspired by WoW’s Arathi Basin. Here, alliances and hordes clash over key positions, with each victory unlocking further rewards in the Eternal War progression.
Legendary Rewards and Log-in Bonuses
Throughout the event, players can earn various rewards, including the exclusive Mourneskull Legendary Gem, WoW-themed weapon skins, and up to 10 Legendary Crests. Those who missed out on the Frostmourne Weapon and Icecrown frame can also claim these items if they haven’t previously unlocked them.
Log-in rewards enhance progression by offering players access to powerful items, like class-specific weapon skins inspired by WoW’s legendary arsenal:
- Shadowmourne – Necromancer
- Gorehowl – Barbarian
- Thori’dal, the Stars’ Fury – Demon Hunter
- Truthguard – Crusader
- Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian – Wizard
- Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker – Tempest

Limited-Time Clash of Saviors and Phantom Market
From November 6 to November 17, 2024, Diablo Immortal’s Clash of Saviors event grants players above Level 30 a 100% experience boost in Battle Pass progression, alongside daily rewards like Rare Crests and Legendary Crests.
The Phantom Market’s Betrayer’s Bonds event runs from November 13 to December 11, allowing players to transform their characters with Illidan-themed cosmetics. Exclusive rewards, such as the Kill Streak effect and the Betrayer’s Bond Nimbus, enhance gameplay and remain accessible for 30 days.
Additional Treasures and In-Game Bonuses
As part of the collaboration, Diablo Immortal will feature the Ashbringer Cosmetic and Corrupted Ashbringer in the in-game shop. Additionally, players reaching level 10 or higher in Diablo Immortal during the event will unlock the Treasure Nabbin’ Bag cosmetic for World of Warcraft’s The War Within expansion.
