Dragon Ball Project: Multi Announced For Android, iOS, And PC!

Bandai Namco has officially unveiled “Dragon Ball Project: Multi,” a new multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game set in the Dragon Ball universe. The game is being developed by Ganbarion, the Fukuoka-based studio known for its extensive work on the One Piece series.

“Dragon Ball Project: Multi” is set to be a free-to-play game, allowing players to engage in 4v4 PvP battles, with each character fulfilling a specific role—DPS, tank, or support—using unique skills and abilities. Although still in its early stages, with the name “Project: Multi” being a working title, the game has already generated significant buzz within the Dragon Ball fan community.

Excitement is building as Ganbarion opens sign-ups for the game’s beta, which is scheduled to begin on August 19, 2024, and run until September 2, 2024. However, this test phase will be limited to select regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. While most regions will have access to both mobile and PC versions, Germany and South Korea will only receive the mobile version.

This new MOBA title comes at a time when the Dragon Ball franchise has seen a lull in new game releases, with the last major title being “Dragon Ball: The Breakers” in 2022. As fans eagerly await the October 2024 release of “Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi,” “Project: Multi” offers a fresh new experience that could reinvigorate interest in Dragon Ball gaming.

No official release date has been announced just yet.
