Square Enix has officially announced their upcoming strategy RPG Emberstoria, set to launch on iOS, Android, and PC in Japan. The game will be available through the App Store, Google Play, and DMM Games Player. Although no formal release date has been confirmed, the App Store lists a tentative launch on November 29, 2024.

Conquest: Real-Time Strategy and Tower Battles
In Emberstoria, players will join forces with allies to conquer the central tower of the world. The game features real-time battlefield analysis, where players engage enemy forces and magical beasts, navigating the trials of Purgatory alongside their team.

City Development: Build and Customize Your Base
Players are tasked with developing Anima Arca, the floating city that acts as the player’s base. By constructing buildings, researching technologies, training troops, and producing resources, players can customize and strengthen their city, setting the stage for strategic dominance.

Training Embers: The Heart of Your Army
Embers, warriors resurrected from the depths of the underworld, are central to your army. Players can form contracts with these otherworldly fighters, training them using resources earned from defeating magical beasts. Additionally, players can craft powerful weapons and armor from beast materials to enhance their forces.
Story: Fully Voiced and Interactive
Emberstoria’s story, with over 40 voice actors, unravels as players explore a world filled with destiny and conflict. The narrative is fully voiced, featuring Live2D animations during key character dialogues, enhancing the immersive storytelling experience.

Development Team and Talent
The game boasts a talented team of creators, including:
- Yusuke Kozaki, known for his work on Fire Emblem Awakening and Pokemon GO, as the main character designer.
- Masashi Hamauzu, composer for Final Fantasy XIII and SaGa Frontier 2, as the lead composer.
- Benny Matsuyama, the main scenario writer behind SaGa Frontier Remastered, is crafting Emberstoria’s engaging story.
The voice cast includes notable talents like Minami Takahashi, Ayana Taketatsu, Kensho Ono, and Yuichi Nakamura.
