Capcom Taiwan has announced that the free-to-play action game, “Mega Man X DiVE” will be bidding farewell on September 27, 2023. While players in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Korea can still enjoy the mobile versions distributed by NebulaJoy, the Capcom Taiwan version will sadly be taken down from the servers.
Capcom expressed their gratitude to the dedicated players who have supported “Mega Man X DiVE” throughout its journey. They understand the disappointment that comes with the game’s closure, but the developers aim to make the final moments memorable for the community.
Capcom has shared a detailed shutdown schedule for “Mega Man X DiVE.” Starting on June 7, 2023, all in-game purchases will be removed from platforms like Google Play, Apple App Store, Mycard, Huawei AppGallery, and Steam. This will ensure fairness and a level playing field for all players.
The final day of service, September 27, 2023, will see the discontinuation of the Capcom Taiwan version, resulting in the game’s closure. While the date for the treatment of remaining paid elements is yet to be announced, Capcom reassures players that they are actively working on it.
In a gesture of appreciation for the players’ support, the developers have made changes leading up to the game’s shutdown. Daily logins will reward players with Elemental Metal Supply Boxes and Dark Code Coins, enhancing their experience until the very end. Additionally, a True. Favorite Capsule has been introduced, granting players a daily free draw with a guaranteed chance to obtain an S-rank character.
Fans of the game can also look forward to regular events at the Armaments Factory and Dark Code Store, offering redeemable weapons and significantly increased Dark Code Coins with the Dark Code Capsule.
