The highly anticipated release of “Monster Hunter Now,” an augmented reality (AR) game developed by Niantic and licensed by Capcom, is drawing near. Building upon the success of Niantic’s popular “Pokémon Go,” “Monster Hunter Now” promises to transport players into a captivating world where they will encounter fearsome monsters while exploring their surroundings.
To ensure a smooth and polished gaming experience, the developers have planned two closed beta testing phases. The first phase, which commenced on April 25, recently concluded on June 13, receiving positive feedback from participants. Now, preparations are underway for the second round of closed beta testing, exclusively available for Android devices, scheduled to begin in late June.
With limited spots available, approximately 10,000 lucky individuals will have the opportunity to dive into the “Monster Hunter Now” universe during the closed beta. Although not every applicant will be selected, the developers have promised to keep all registrants updated with the latest news and developments regarding the game. Interested players can sign-up here.

While the closed beta is exclusive to Android, it’s important to note that the official launch of “Monster Hunter Now” will cater to both Android and iOS users. So, even if you’re an iOS enthusiast, you can still get in on the excitement by registering for the beta through the official website.

During the closed beta, participants will be able to test the game’s mechanics, features, and overall gameplay. It’s worth mentioning that only the English and Japanese languages will be supported during this testing phase, ensuring that players can fully engage with the game’s immersive world.
