“Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds” Mobile MMORPG Global Version Slated To Launch This Summer

Highly anticipated 3D mobile MMORPG, “Ni No Kuni: Crossworlds” by Netmarble and Level-5 Studios has been out in Japan and for selected countries in Southeast Asia for quite some time. Made with Unreal Engine 4, the game has impressed many gamers with its visuals and gameplay. Despite its success, the game hasn’t been launched globally, leaving fans disappointed. But now, we finally got an update for a possible release window for the global version.

About “Ni No Kuni: Crossworlds”

The game’s aesthetics is heavily inspired by Studio Ghibli films. “Ni No Kuni: Crossworlds” will feature game mechanics that came straight from its source material while its aesthetics are heavily inspired by Studio Ghibli films who people might recognize as the Japanese studio who made “My Neighbor Totoro,” “Spirited Away,” and “Howl’s Moving Castle.” Players will take on the role of a player diving into a virtual game, much like Sword Art Online. There are multiple classes to choose from including Swordsman, Witch, Engineer, Destroyer, and Rogue.

While the “Ni No Kuni” franchise has multiple storylines, “Crossworlds” will follow its own adventure. You’ll get to enjoy participating in multiple PvE and PvP events like monster collecting, gear collecting, party system, and many more. Joe Hisaishi, the musical composer for the “Ni No Kuni” franchise will also make the soundtrack for the game while animated cut-scenes made by Studio Ghibli themselves will be included as well.

“Ni No Kuni: Crossworlds” Release Date
“Ni No Kuni: Crossworlds” has been confirmed for a global launch release early this summer of 2022 for both Android and iOS. No specific date has been announced yet but at least fans of the game have an idea as to when the game will make its global debut.
