“PRINCIPLES” COLOPL Releases Mobile Tech Demo Game

The Technical Demonstration for COLOPL’s upcoming adventure game “PRINCIPLES” has been made available for free download in Japan for both Android and iOS through the Google Play Store and iOS App Store respectively. The game is under its recently established COLOPL Creators brand.

“PRINCIPLES” will follow an intrepid traveler who accidentally entered a cave while exploring, where she discovered human remains and intriguing, old ruins. She then sets foot in the pitch black. “PRINCIPLES” will boast some cutting-edge gaming tech. Explore a deep underground world shown using high-definition graphics, which include dimly lit caves filled with dusty clouds, light that filters through stone fissures, and surfaces of water that shimmer in the light.

The 3D sounds that approximate reverberation and attenuation make the gameplay experience even more lifelike. They include the sounds of your footsteps and garments rustling, as well as the faint sound of water falling from unidentified places. Objects can also be destroyed. Real-time physics calculations allow you to experience thrilling, devastating acts. There are several options available for players to adjust in the menu, including adjustments for the graphics and music.

Just to remind everyone, “PRINCIPLES” is just a tech demo. The purpose of the game is to see what COLOPL can do and how they can push the thresholds of what smartphones can accomplish in regard to gaming. Hence why the game is just a short adventure puzzle game. “PRINCIPLES” can be seen as a window to the future of what smartphones can be capable of and what glorious future it will be if this is where we are headed in regards to mobile gaming.
