“PUBG Mobile” Version 2.2 Update Reveals Brand New Map, Nusa Coming In September

Popular battle royale game, “PUBG Mobile” has recently revealed that a new map will be coming to the game with its version 2.2 update. The announcement came during the game’s PUBG Mobile Pro League Fall Split 2022 (PMPL). Here’s what you need to know about the new update.

The New Nusa Map

Nusa will be the seventh map coming to “PUBG Mobile” Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Livik, and Karakin. Nusa will be the smallest map to date with only around 1×1 wide and with a capacity of 32 players. It’s basically made for fast-paced gameplay and quick sessions. The area will feature a rural landscape and various terrains that will include cliffs, open fields, and high vantage points.

Nusa’s Features

What sets Nusa apart from other “PUBG” maps is its many new features. Here’s a list of what you can expect when you finally land on the map:

Auto Recall – players who die on the map will have another chance for that coveted chicken dinner. When you die, you can respawn again after 15 seconds. This is only possible if at least one member of your team is still alive.
Elevators And Lifts – Some buildings in Nusa will have elevators, that, well, work as they intended. You can enter them and choose which floor you want to go to.
Special Buffs – special areas in the form of pools will be scattered throughout Nusa that when entered, will give you special buffs like healing and so on.
Ziplines – The terrain in Nusa is a bit of a challenge to traverse. Thanks to Ziplines, going to point A to B will be a bit easier. But be careful as using ziplines will leave you vulnerable.
Loot Crates – loot crates will randomly spawn on the map which can give players a chance for better items which translates to a better chance of winning.

“PUBG Mobile” is one of the few popular battle royale games that has successfully retained their community all these years thanks to their updates and new content. The Nusa map is a very welcome update as it gives the game a breath of fresh air and something new to break the monotonous repetition of the previous maps.
