Ragnarok : Codename Morroc is now accepting closed‑beta test (CBT) pre‑downloads exclusively on Android. Gravity, the studio behind the classic Ragnarok franchise, has released the APK ahead of the official CBT launch on June 11, 2025. This gives fans a welcome head start to install before test servers go live!

What’s New? CP/BP Removal Shakes Up Gameplay

This new MMORPG breaks from its predecessors by removing the CP/BP (Combat Power/Battle Power) system entirely. Now, success in Morroc relies on player skill and strategic choices—not grinding or gear advantages. Gravity says this significant change levels the playing field and sharpens competitive balance by emphasizing player tactics over power scaling.

Classic Classes, Fresh Mechanics

Morroc revives familiar Ragnarok classes—Knight, Priest, Assassin—but updates them with modernized skills and equipment customization. Players can tailor their builds, choosing skills and gear combinations that align with their own strategy and style. The mix of classic and new creates fresh gameplay that appeals to both veteran and new players.

Game Modes from Action to Relaxation

There’s more than just combat. Aside from battling in daily and boss missions with friends, players can enjoy casual activities like fishing and mining for rewards. Guild Wars also make a comeback: team up, share resources, and vie for glory and special prizes. Choose your own adventure—intense PvE, strategic PvP, or chill side‑quests.

As of this writing, there’s no news about an English version yet, but rest assured, it’s a Gravity mobile MMORPG, of course it’s gonna get a SEA and Global version. All we can do now is wait.
