Tencent Is Making A Grand Theft Auto-Like Mobile Game

Tencent Games, through its subsidiary Level Infinite, is developing a mobile game titled Codename Crime-Vice Open World, which resembles the gameplay of Rockstar’s GTA series. The game recently completed its early access phase in the U.S. for Android devices, with no announcement yet regarding a release on iOS.

The game features a vast open-world environment, allowing players to engage in PvP modes, run businesses, and acquire properties like mansions. It also boasts a wide selection of vehicles reminiscent of GTA‘s iconic muscle cars. The early access version, which launched in late September 2024, has already generated significant interest, with early impressions suggesting that the game could be a major success.

While further details on its release are pending, Codename Crime-Vice Open World has quickly gained attention for its immersive gameplay and expansive urban setting.
