Thousands of migrants traveled the Oregon Trail in the middle of the 19th century in search of a better life in the American West. Frontier villages like Independence served as the Trail’s starting points when settlers gathered their hopes and loaded their wagons in preparation for the arduous trek ahead. You are now in control of Independence in this town-building simulator game, managing resources and adding new buildings to the community.
Control each step of the town-building process. Develop your fields, then hire farmers to harvest your produce. To make the route a little more enticing, construct shops and factories where basic resources are transformed into food, clothing, and even luxury goods. On the frontier, every resource is valuable, so if you want your town to prosper, you’ll need to make sure that every aspect of it cooperates.
