EA has launched The Sims Labs: Town Stories, the latest addition to its popular Sims franchise, as part of a limited playtesting phase. The game is currently available exclusively in select regions, including Australia and the Philippines, on Android devices via the Google Play Store.

Part of The Sims Labs program, which began in August, the game explores experimental ways to play The Sims. Set in the town of Plumbrook, Town Stories allows players to interact with residents, build facilities, and customize their experience with new features not seen in previous titles.

While still in its early stages, with some reports of moderate optimization and room for improvement, feedback from the community is expected to shape its development. No official release date or platform expansion has been announced yet.

For those interested in trying the game, you must sign up for The Sims Labs through EA’s website, requiring an EA account. You can check if the game is now available in your country through the game’s Google Play Store link.
